    MRM Inc., a language research center in the Washington D.C. area has an immediate need for a Kazakh linguist to review an intermediate to advanced level Kazakh textbook written by Tangat Tangirberid kyzy Ayapova. This book is a companion piece to "Learn the Kazakh Language in 70 steps Using 200 Sentence Models" by the same author and published in 1991 by Dunwoody Press. The Kazakh linguist will be asked to review the entire textbook, particularly with special attention to the accurary of the Kazakh text and the clairty of the English translations and explanations of grammar.     Kyung Hee University at Seoul, Korea is seeking some qualified EFL teachers. Qualifications: MA in Linguistics, Creative Writing, TESOL or closely related field, or BA in these EFL fields with MBA or MS degree. Experiences in teaching English as a Second Language and/or experiences with TESOL education are highly preferred. Interested applicants are asked to send a letter of application, curriculum vitae (with a photo attached), a list of three references, and copies of transcripts and diploma to:

    The successful candidates will be appointed for the term of one year beginning Septemer 1, 1999, renewable on good standing for the term of two years. Primary responsibilities include teaching 15 hours of English conversation and composition classes per week and coordinating EFL activities in the institute. Monthly salary will be approximately 2,000,000 won. Other benefits include 8 week vacations, health insurance, and a studio apartment.
