    Wayesnburg College has a temporary, full-time position for January, 1998, through summer, 1998. The successful candidate will teach an ESL course to 11 new students from Korea and help them adapt to life in America. An additional responsibility is administering a summer ESL program for visiting students from Korea.     Department of Linguistics, University of Wisconsin, Madison. Visiting Assistant Professor, Spring Semester 1998. Duties: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, according to specialty.

    Qualifications: PhD in hand or dissertation accepted in theoretical linguistics with specialty in phonetics or phonology or syntax or semantics. Full consideration will be given to all applications received by 31 October together with three letters of recommendation.

    Salary: $32,060 / yr (i.e., $16,030 for the semester).
