    The Linguistics Program at the University of Georgia seeks to fill a temporary part-time Lecturer position beginning January 6, 1998, and ending by June 15, 1998. The Lecturer will teach two courses in Winter Quarter (graduate introductions to syntax and phonetics/phonology) and two additional courses in Spring Quarter (undergraduate syntax and the graduate introduction to discourse analysis). Salary will be $12,000. Applicants qualified to teach History of the English Language may be considered to teach an additional course in Spring Quarter, with proportionate increase in salary. Applicants must have completed a relevant Ph.D by December 1997, and should send a letter of application and curriculum vitae to William A.     Position Title: Instructor of English Position Available from : March 1, 1998 Organization: Yonsei Institute of Language Research and Education, Yonsei University at Wonju Location: Wonju City, Kangwon-do, South Korea Qualificaitons: A Master's degree, not necessarily in ESL, and/or teaching experience Duties: Teach English conversation and composition, public speaking, pronunciation, and/or reading, plus office hours and staff meetings. Each teacher teaches up to 28 hours per week to classes of 25-30 students each. Salary: Varies by education and experience; ranges from US$ 22,000-25,000 per year Other Benefits: Furnished, shared apartment within walking distance of school. Furnished, not shared apartment if married and spouse can teach.
