Position in Developmental Psycholinguistics
Boston University
The Literacy, Language and Cultural Studies Specialization in the
Department of Developmental Studies and Counseling is searching
for a faculty member in Developmental Psycholinguistics. The
position will be filled at the rank of assistant professor and is a
tenure track position.
Candidates must have an earned doctoral degree in developmental
psycholinguistics or a related field such as developmental
psychology or linguistics with an emphasis on language
development. Candidates should have an academic and a
professional interest in cognition and language, language
development and education, and sociological or neurological factors
that support or inhibit language development. Teaching courses in
these areas, conducting independent research and supervising the
research of graduate students are expected.
