    The Department of English Language and Literature at Seoul National University has an opening in EFL-Applied Linguistics, beginning Sept 1, 1997. The successful candidate should hold at least a Master's degree in EFL and/or Applied Linguistics and should be prepared to teach courses in ESL conversation and composition at various levels, in addition to courses in applied linguistics. Prior experience teaching ESL at the university-level is highly recommended. Contracts are issued for a year and are renewable. Appointments will be made at ranks commensurate with experience. The University provides housing for foreign visiting faculty on its premises. Interested personnel should send a CV, teaching evaluations, three letters of reference, writing samples/samples of publication, and transcripts of coursework (mailed directly from the issuing institution) by mail or fax to:

    Indiana University Program in TESOL and Applied Linguistics seeks candidates for Visiting Assistant Professor

    The Program in TESOL and Applied Linguistics has a one-year visiting position available for a candidate with a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics with a research specialty in classroom- oriented research and/or second language pedagogy. Teaching assignments include MA level courses in TESOL methodology, applied English phonology, classroom-oriented research, and possible ESL assignments.
