    Full-time EFL Instructor in Korea --------------------------------------- The Department of English Education at Seowon University in Korea has an opening position for a full-time EFL instructor. Successful applicants must be native speakers of English, show excellent writing and speaking abilities, and have TESOL or EFL/ESL Certificate, MA in linguistics or applied linguistics. Prior experience in an EFL program is highly preferable.

    Terms of Contract:

    - Period: Sept 1st, 1997 thru Feb. 1999 (one and a half years) and renewable. - 8 week paid vacation a year - Stipend: 1,500,000 Korean Won (about US$1,700) a month - Required Hours: 16 hours per week - Benefits: Housing (a furnished studio) & Health Insurance

    Due to a late resignation, the Department of Languages and Linguistics at Florida Atlantic University, a state university in Boca Raton, seeks adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Peninsular Spanish literature, specifically the Golden Age and the survey of Peninsular literature (1800 to the present). Requirements include a Ph.D. in Spanish, college teaching experience, and native or near-native fluency in Spanish. We are also seeking adjunct instructors to teach an undergraduate course in Spanish Structure and a graduate course in the History and Dialectology of Spanish. A Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics is preferred, but ABDs and MAs will be considered. Please contact Dr. Ernest L.
