    Ph.D. or ABD in applied Spanish linguistics/pedagogy. Fall 1999, tenure-track. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English. Skilled in proficiency-based instruction and demonstrated excellence in language teaching at all levels. Knowledge of technological resources and their integration into instruction. Competency to teach a second modern language and experience/willingness to direct TAs and coordinate assessment of majors are desirable. Record of scholarly achievement or promise. Demonstrated ability and/or interest in working in a multi-ethnic, multicultural environment. Doctorate is required for tenure.
