    The Department of Linguistics at The Ohio State University seeks candidates for a position in human language processing at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (tenured). Preference will be given to candidates working on adult language processing at the sentential (syntax/semantics) level and/or extrasentential (discourse structure) level. The appointment will be effective October 1, 1999. Candidates are expected to have the Ph.D. in hand at the time of the appointment. The person filling the position will be expected to be active in research and publication, to meet standard departmental teaching requirements and to perform service duties as required by the department, College and University. The deadline for applications is November 30, 1998.
