    1. Syntax. The Department of Linguistics at Harvard University has been authorized to make a two-semester appointment (one visitor two semesters or two visitors one semester) in generative syntax or the syntax/semantics interface, rank open, for 1998-99. Three years post-doctoral teaching experience preferred.
